The Abraham Lincoln Council and Illinek Lodge need your help. Over the last few months, over a thousand American flags have been collected and are now waiting to be retired. So despite the very late notice, we welcome you to our flag retirement event on January 16th at Camp Illinek. After a tough year of trying to figure out how to continue our duty of service, we will start here, so I urge you to join us.

This will take place from 10 am to 2 pm, and as for concerns of the weather, we suggest layers and warm clothes.  In the event of severe weather, an additional email will be sent out to reschedule the event. Covid regulations will be followed to the absolute best of our ability, so masks are required, and social distancing must be practiced with few exceptions. Meals will also not be provided, so please bring water and a sack lunch.

If you can not aid us in this endeavor, please contact us so that we can get your troop or patrol flags to retire at your own discretion.
